SIMEST opens up to Artificial Intelligence: new rules for export financing and extraordinary aid against crises

The MAECI approves a package of changes to SIMEST financing under Fund 394/81: 200 million dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, an anti-crisis shield for the Persian Gulf and Southern Italy, and compliance rules to avoid the risk of revocation. Applications open on 21 September 2026.
